The project that was my over all favorite this year was the biome project. For this project my partner was my friend Julia. We picked the taiga. What interested me about the taiga were all the animals that lived there such as the snowy owl and the white fox. I also learned about the animals and how the animals had to live where they do like the snowy owl it has to be somewhere where it’s cold or else it won’t survive. What also interested me was the climate. The climate was cold in the winter but hot in the summer. Like it is here, that’s why I liked the biome project.
The information I studied was the climate in the Taiga, the landforms, the plants, and animals. I think this will helpful if I ever had to do a project on the taiga or an essay I would know about it. I think this could help me in everyday life if I ever needed to find a home for an animal. If I saw a snowy owl in my yard I would know it wouldn’t belong here. Also if I ever lived in the taiga I would know all about it. That’s why I think this will help me in my everyday life.
